Privacy notice

Updated · MCJarHub

MCJarHub has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising. Visitors get no cookies. We count downloads per version without storing who downloaded, and our hosting keeps standard access logs for security.

Who is responsible

The operator of MCJarHub is responsible for this website. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

  • Download counts. When you click a download button we add one to a counter for that version, then redirect you to the file's source. We do not store who clicked. The counts are used in aggregate (for example to see which versions matter).
  • Server access logs. Like any web server, ours records the IP address, time, requested URL, referrer and browser user agent of each request, to keep the site secure and debug errors. These logs are deleted on a rolling basis and are not used for profiling.
  • Cloudflare. The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes your IP address to deliver pages and block attacks, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) when checking for bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • No analytics, no ads, no tracking cookies. Visitors get no cookies from MCJarHub itself. The only cookie we set is a session cookie for the site's administrators when they log in.
  • Email. If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you.

Downloads go to third parties

When you download a file you are redirected to its source (for example Mojang, PaperMC, GitHub or mcjars.app). That server receives your request under its own privacy policy.

Legal basis and your rights

Access logs and download counting rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, or object to processing, by emailing [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
