Server Jar JSON API
Free, public REST API for every jar indexed on this site. No API key, no auth, CORS enabled — build panels, launchers or update scripts on top of it.
Base URL
https://mcjarhub.com/api/v1
All responses are JSON with a success flag and a data payload.
Errors use proper HTTP status codes (404, 400) and an error message.
Responses are cacheable for 5 minutes.
- Machine-readable spec: OpenAPI 3.1 (also linked from /.well-known/api-catalog).
- Free and keyless, CORS
*. Fair use: cache responses, send a descriptiveUser-Agent, don't poll more than necessary — clients that hammer the API may be rate-limited. - Attribution appreciated ("data from MCJarHub" with a link) — not required.
- "latest" means the newest release with a stable build; add
?channel=experimentalto include experimental builds. - Every version includes its
source(official or mirror) and checksums (sha256,sha1,md5) where known. - Coming from ServerJars? The old
/api/fetchJar,fetchLatest,fetchAll,fetchDetailsandfetchTypesroutes work here — details.
