How to set up Quilt 26.1 Snapshot 11
- Install Java 25 or newer (e.g. Eclipse Temurin) and check it with
java -version. - Download the official Quilt installer (
quilt-installer-0.15.1.jar) above. - In an empty folder run:
java -jar quilt-installer-0.15.1.jar install server 26.1-snapshot-11 --download-server --create-scripts --install-dir=server - The installer downloads the vanilla 26.1 Snapshot 11 server, sets up Quilt Loader and writes start scripts into
server/. Start it once, then accept the EULA ineula.txt. - Put Quilt (and most Fabric) mods into
server/mods/.
Modded servers need more memory: 6–8 GB for a light modpack, 8–12 GB or more for large packs. Leave 1–1.5 GB for the operating system. How much RAM?

What Java version does Quilt 26.1 Snapshot 11 need?
Quilt 26.1 Snapshot 11 needs Java 25 or newer. Running it on an older Java fails with an UnsupportedClassVersionError mentioning class file version 69.0.
Is Quilt 26.1 Snapshot 11 safe for my survival world?
Only on a copy. Preview versions are experimental and upgrade worlds irreversibly; keep a backup and don't switch a live world to a snapshot, pre-release or release candidate.
